What do you think of Acer Lap Tops?

I bought an Acer lap top. 512mb nvidia, 4 gb ram, 250gb hd, dvd writer with AMD with a very competitive price, but my friends said that, you shouldn’t have bought this, you should have bought a toshiba, asus or any other. But when i see the preferences and price, acer is the best, what do you think?
