Would i start blogging with Wordpress or Blogger, Which one is better in long term blogging and branding?

I plan to build a blog about planting. But i can’t decide how to start. I know that blogger blogs get indexed to google easier, but wordpress blogs looks more proffessional. Blogger has not hosting costs but most of my friends do not recommend it to me.

Please answer my question around these criterias;

1-) Branding
2-) Costs
3-) Fun
4-) Web Traffic
5-) Promotion
