Firefox and Crome Issues

I am working on a new design and am running into some issues right off the bat with my CSS.

On: http://embeddedcomputingsystems.com/home.php

It looks fine in IE6 (I’m at work.. I know, the browser sucks, but they won’t let us upgrade). But in Firefox and Google Chrome I’m having some issues. There is a gap at the top of the page and the images are not aligning properly…

Can someone please help? I know I’m making some fundamental error in my coding, but don’t know what it is!
