[ Elections ] Open Question : Ralph Nader deserves a vote?
Ralph Nader has done more for public safety than all those characters in the white house put together. The 1966 National Traffic and Motor Vehicle Safety Act alone has save 250,000 American lives since, making safety belts and nonmetal steering wheels mandatory for new car productions in the 1970’s. Prior to that, metal steering wheels used to cut into people’s skin and bones during accidents causing pain and sometimes instant death. That’s unbeatable! Name one accomplishment that Obama or McCain did that is greater than that?!
With Nader we wouldn’t be putting up with lead in paint on children’s toys, poisoned peppers, tomatoes, or whatever. The man has been right on every single issue since the 1960’s.
I happen to believe that voting for your conscience is not a wasted vote. Every single vote for Ralph Nader will reverberate around the country and warn the dangers of two party politics George Washington so warned us against the party system and I quote “It serves to distract the Public Councils, and enfeeble the Public Administration….agitates the Community with ill-founded jealousies and false alarms; kindles the animosity of one….against another….it opens the door to foreign influence and corruption…thus the policy and the will of one country are subjected to the policy and will of another.”
Why would you not vote for Ralph Nader?
From someone who rattles the cages.
