[ Desktops ] Open Question : Is this good for gaming?

If i buy Intel DG35EC motherboard,Nvdia Geforce 8600 GT(1 Gb video ram) and 2 GB RAM and DVD drive etc is this enough to play top games like crysis. Or I have to buy more things .Does Intel DG35EC motherboard works like speed of Dual Core 2
