Not yet. But I would expect them soon. Google is supposed to do an update and I’m sure certain users (such as myself) will develop some handy tools for chrome.

So? Konqueror is a completely different program, yet it can use firefox plugins.

Konqueror is using Gecko engine (the same as in Firefox), and Chrome is built on the Webkit engine (like Safari). So plugins woudn`t work((

As of now it appears there are no plugins available for chrome. Sooner or later there might be few in market.

Seriously, add an Adblock Plus and it would be even faster! I’ve spent so many years without banners and blinking garbage up and down every side of the screen that I thought something was terribly wrong wrong with Chrome when I first used it. What the heck was all this stuff everywhere distracting me from what I was actually supposed to be looking at.

Yes because the people who run websites do it out of the kindness of their hear.

Does it really destroy you to eye ball an advert to keep websites running?

Bummer… for some reason the National Weather Service site reports that I don’t have the Java plugin - that’s gonna be a real limitation for Chrome until they get one.

Chrome has a few built-in plugins (go to about:plugins). I don’t think there are any other plugins for it right now, though.
