VSS no CEL light
Speedometer and odometer now working but when i jump the connectors it doesn’t bring up code 17.
however it did bring it up last night when i took it out and replugged it because of a code 17. suddenly 1 night and code 17’s gone. whats the problem? why isn’t my speedometer and odometer not working? i saw some green stuff/ powerdery stuff on the prongs but i thought that was there for the electricity to go through. i’ve heard of substances put on electrical plugs and the sort for better connectivityy…but iuno… any help?fs:94 civic ex wire harness

Should we rebuild if Gustav destroys
I am sure that all of you have heard about Gustav which threatens New Orleans. My question is this: Do we really need to rebuild the damn city (assuming Gustav wipes it out)? It’s below sea level 
. How many times does the city have to get wiped out before we say enough is enough? If the city is demolished again, I personally oppose federal funds going towards rebuilding a city that is below sea level.
Burning oil Help
So I have been noticing that every oild change, which I do myself, I haveabout a quart of oil after 2500 miles of driving. I fill it with just over 3 quarts and use the dipstick to check the level needed. This last time I let it go to 4000 miles cause I was busy and the oil light started to flicker. I checked the levels and the stick showed empty. A TINY bit of oil on one of the corners of the stick, but that’s it. I changed my oil and no oil lihgt problem anymore, but obviously I still have a oil loss problem. My car seems to run fine and I never notice any smoke coming out the back. I have changed the oil filter with the oil every time. I use Mobil 1 5w30 and saw somewhere that this oil is known to burn. Is it burning slowly enough for me not to see it or could this be a different problem? The only other thing I am doing to my car is adding FP60 oil additive and when I can FP60 fuel additive to clean things out and keep them clean. Any thoughts are appreciated. What should I check and should I change oil? Thanks

I have been looking at the new civics and I can honestly say I am lost. The last car I worked on was a 91 crx with a B20 swap, so I have no knowledge of any of the newer engines.
I am thinking of selling my 92 gsr project to get a decent down payment for a civic, but I’m not sure what model to go for. I could go with an si, but I would most likely have to go back to my second job since I am only 20 (insurance would kill me). So I guess my main question is, for someone looking for a decent project/daily driver, will the lower models work? I was thinking of going with the base DX since I will be changing everything anyway, but I would really like to have 220-240hp once I finish with my build since my gsr project has spoiled me on anything less than 200hp. Does the DX have much aftermarket support and is it realistic to expect a 220-240hp project off of the DX’s engine without spending over 4k on engine upgrades? can someone give me guidance on my routine
well i have been working out for about a year and a half now. i’m pretty proud of what i have accomplished thus far, but i know there is definitely room for improvement. i started off at around 220 pure fat and now am down to roughly 160 (i’m 5′7).
i have mainly focused on running with very minor weight training. i attempt to run 20-30 miles per week and only lift 1 day. when i do lift i consolidate everything in on that one day. i basically just do my upper body (arms, chest, back, shoulders, and abs) it takes me about an hour or so with lifting, but i know i could have a much better routine. i really don’t want to sacrifice all the running i do though. i hear it is not good to do a lot of running on the same days you do lifting. when i lift i run maybe 1 - 2 miles to warm up and get my heart rate up. on my running only days i run roughly 6 - 12 miles depending on my mood and weather. my diet isn’t completely terrible. i don’t eat as often as i would like to is my only problem. i basically am pescatarian (sp? (only eat fish)). i don’t consume dairy either actually. i substitute milk for unsweetened almond milk, but it’s very seldom that i drink anything other than water though. tiaSway Bar Q’s
I wanted to get front and rear sway bars on my dx eg 95 hatch. i dont think that there is a place to bolt them in the front though since it didnt come with bars. does any1 know for sure? i have skunk2 control arms in the back so that shouldnt be a problem in the rear. also what size and make bars should i get? i hear itr sway bars are good or maybe 22mm suspension techniques? any info would be appreciated
